This boutique hotel enjoys one of the best locations in Prague, with Prague Castle right next door, 7 minutes' walk from Charles Bridge and 3 minutes from Lesser Town Square. The entire breathtaking scenery of the City of a Hundred Spires is at your feet when enjoying the breathtaking view from the open-air terrace of the Golden Well hotel. This Renaissance-style building belonged to the Emperor Rudolf II (1552-1612) and once served as the residence of the legendary Astronomer Tycho de Brahe (1546-1601).

After the refurbishment of its interior and the service areas, our restaurant opened its doors again in February 2008. The restaurant Terasa U Zlaté Studně is located on the fourth floor of the U Zlaté studně Hotel, offering superb views that will convince you that Prague is really the city of one hundred spires. The restaurant's new interior is the work of the Italian architects Lorenzo Carmelini and Katrin Herden. They have again used their typical style, combining modern design with the elements of the Renaissance era. Our restaurant has 26 seats and additional 38 seats are available on the roof terrace during the summer months. For group reservations we have 40 seats in the interior section and 60 seats on the roof terrace. After your lunch you can enjoy a walk in the gardens of Prague Castle (during opening hours). The direct entrance to the gardens from the restaurant terrace used to serve as a private entrance for the Emperor Rudolf II.
